Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett awarded $14.5M in CARES Act funding to small businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the Fifth District through her Small Business Grant Relief Program.
The Small Business Grant Relief Program launched on June 22nd provided economic support of up to $10,000 in CARES Act funding grants for small businesses and non-profit organizations experiencing financial difficulties as a result of COVID-19. Grants were awarded to businesses in nearly every business sector.
The Fifth District encompasses the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, portions of Irvine, as well as the unincorporated areas of Coto de Caza, Emerald Bay, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Rancho Mission Viejo, Stonecliffe and Wagon Wheel.
